Land Acknowledgement

In the spirit of reconciliation and the collective healing of Indigenous People and all Canadians, we acknowledge that we serve, live, and play on the First Nations lands of Treaty #6, #7, and #8 and the home and land to many Metis and other Indigenous people (who may/may not identify with these treaties). We acknowledge the history of colonization that has occurred on their land, and we are dedicated to addressing the ongoing outcomes of colonial trauma through our work at the Hinton Friendship Centre.
